To those who wish to evaluate evidence on a "disease" that has cast a spell on all the world, this book with the name mentioned here as the title of this blog will be an eye-opener. 

We have been schooled for three centuries in the belief that germs and their invisible cousins, viruses cause diseases. So ingrained is the belief that it is almost like a fundamentalist religious dogma that none dare question 🤔. 

You go to a doctor with a fever. The doctor prescribes usually an antibiotic, more often a broad spectrum one. 

You ask the doctor, "What is my disease?" He dismisses your anxious query with a smile, "Oh, it's just a viral fever". You leave, none the wiser. The doctor too does not know what is your illness is. 

Interestingly, antibiotics do not work against viruses which are supposed to be non-living thing! 

Then why did the doctor say what he did? He was only parroting what he was told in college.

Medical science is under intense scrutiny and current dogma under attack, and rightly so.

The very fact that these views are censored by large social media companies reveals more of what their masters wish to hide!

Interestingly, mainstream media continues to parrot conventional medical beliefs. The refrain goes thus: One disease caused by one germ or virus with one medication for cure.

"COVID-19 third wave: Over 70% of January deaths in Karnataka were in ICUs"

Firstly, has any epidemic come in WAVES

Why are people dying in ICUs? 

Were autopsies performed to determine the cause of death?

The news admits that two thirds had comorbidities. 

Why were these deaths attributed to Covid?

Who is interested in keeping the scare mongering going?

They should read Aesop's fables! Like the boy who cried, "Wolf, wolf", people are tired of scare stories and no longer take them seriously.

Another news item says that 30 % people of India believe that covid is a myth!

Iit show how few people in this country are able to think clearly.

Covid Cases and The "Testing Positive" Hoax

 Every day media reports the number of new cases of Covid-19. These are based on RT-PCR tests. Those who give the data say that these are the numbers of people who have "tested positive". (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction.)

As you will see from the explanation of the process and its author's statement that the so-called test and inference of infections are merely hoaxes to continue the fear mongering.

The inventor of the PCR procedure is Kary Mullis. He received the Nobel prize for it. He has categorically stated on record that the procedure CANNOT be used to tell if one is sick or not. The link to his video is here.

It is wonder that many countries are using the test. 

It is ONLY a method of amplifying (replicating) small strands or fragments of RNA (Ribonucleic acid). The amplification is done by dissolving the RNA in a liquid and processing the solution through heating and cooling cycles. This cycling results in replication of the RNA fragment. If in a given (recommended number of cycles is 25 to 30) number of cycles a sufficient quantity of RNA is present / found, it could be concluded that the RNA is present in adequate quantities in the test subject. 

The reason why this does NOT lead to the conclusion that a person is sick is because, it has not been shown that the RNA fragment is an external pathogen and not part of the test subject's own DNA. 

To conclude that the RNA found in nasal or throat swabs are causative agents of the disease, it would also have to be shown that all people with the disease have it, that people without the disease don't have the RNA and lastly, if the RNA is introduced into a healthy person she/he will fall ill. (This could be done by trials using monkeys). 

Pictures of the so-called virus you see in media are merely computer generated images and have nothing to do with the reality.

So also, the alleged code sequence of the RNA claimed by some is also computer generated.  

Hence, drawing inferences of infections from RT-PCR of "cases" is a complete HOAX!

Unbelievable, but true. 

The first thing to understand about Coronavirus is that it is the generic name for ALL viruses which, are believed to cause influenza or Influenza Like Illnesses (ILI). 

Coronavirus is the name of the virus and the disease is called Covid-19 - Cov for corona (since it resembles a crown) VID for Virus ID and 19 to represent the year 2019 when it was first noticed. 

If you had the opinion that Covid-19 is some strange disease and would NOT like change that view, please do NOT read any further.

The virus that causes Covid-19 is more easily spread than some other viruses. However, we have NO explanation for the world wide spread of the "Spanish flu" that killed millions in 1918. How did it spread in so short a time when travel tooks months and weeks and hardy anyone travelled?

Lockdown is not just useless, it actually harms more people than Covid-19. The number of lost-years-of-life is orders of magnitude higher due to lockdown than die to Covid-19.

Then why are governments going ahead with lockdowns?

Politicians are damned if they do and damned if the don't do. So, the easy way out for them is to be seen as taking firm action. Just now, a news says the Indian PM will address the nation at 4 PM tomorrow.

He is among the many political leaders who wish to be seen as taking effective action.

I do not know who is advising him and what advice he is being given. I have sought this through RTI. but have NOT received any reply. 

Please join me in requesting governments in India and all over the world to pause and reflect on the harm they are causing to the hapless populations subject to their control.

It is astonishing how a whole nation or many nations could be fooled into such mindless action. The fable of the chicken which ran saying that the sky is falling and all other chickens running after her comes to mind. That's how panic starts and spreads. It is the same as a stampede. Stampedes kill many. This one also will. Some from starvation, others from diseases caused by malnutrition.

A news story in NDTV reports a Ministry of Home (nice name), Affairs (abbreviated as, “MHA”) has authorised various police and intelligence agencies to snoop into every computer of everyone in this great country of ours (?).

The order is like saying that a policeman or policewoman should sit in everyone’s bedroom to prevent spouses from sleeping with someone else while one of them is away!

Nine (9) judges sat for months and came out with a judgement on privacy rights. They agreed – unanimously – that it is a fundamental right.

MHA is cocking a snoop at those poor, powerless (?) judges.

Can’t they take suo moto notice and strike down the order?

Or are they waiting for a PIL?

The CEC has challenged recognised political parties to prove that EVMs are vulnerable to tampering. 

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be a genuine effort at finding out whether EVMs could be tampered with or not.

The CEC seems to take a defensive position, more like thumbing its nose at critics.

If the CEC were sincere about finding the truth for itself and rectifying EVMs, it should invite cyber security experts, provide them with facilities to study the machines and their manufacturing processes to assess vulnerabilities.

As a first step, CEC could invite Dr. Prasad, who it had got arrested a couple of years back and his foreign collaborator in the EVM hacking demo. 

I know two experts who are capable and willing to demonstrate how easy it is to manipulate elections which, use these machines.

Will the CEC provide them the facilities?

Academic Freedoms Among Others

Freedom is something priceless. How could one define it? How could one know what it is? 

It is like life. Difficult to define, except as what it is not. Life is that which is not death! So too, freedom is that which is not constrained, fettered or in shackles, mental or physical.

Mental restraint may be as cruel, if not more so, than physical curtailment of liberty. 

There are many kinds of freedoms - to travel (remember one take off from an aircraft for dissent), to speak, to think, to practice and propagate religion, to carry on professions, to write, to subscribe to political ideologies, to gather in protest and so on.

When there are so many varieties of freedoms, why is it that on academia there are many kinds of manacles?

Teachers and students experience all kinds of restrictions. Should we not have a more liberal academic world where many flowers may bloom?

Could we attribute the lack of innovative or original work out from our academia as due to lack of freedoms?

The difference is so striking that one wonders where has all our fabled IT prowess gone!

The first is all about students, faculty, courses, facilities, admissions - information useful to those seeking to enter it.

The second two are pathetic. They open with photos of functions, mostly of some government minister or official.

The ethos prevalent here.

A reflection of this is in the recent JNU controversy. Even a judge while granting bail imagined it necessary to the student to curb his youthful exuberance.

Privatisation of Public Utility Services

This is the new game politicians are playing in many countries across the globe. The motivation is obvious, privatise public assets and make money in the bargain.

In democracies politicians are elected to serve people. Once elected, most politicians behave like rulers. 

This is the problem with democracy, which if not solved, would lead to the collapse of democratic system of governance. 

Privatisation of public, that is, people's assets is a symptom of the disease of elected representatives who have visions of regal grandeur .

While many from media attended the meet and even purchased the Monograph, as anticipated, news coverage of the event was meager. 

The reasons are not difficult to understand. Media is gagged indirectly through dark hints and inducements of advertisements. Media is after all a business and business interests of media owners always overtake national interests. 

The Monograph contains articles by six authors who contributed to it. It has news about RTI replies received from UIDAI, which would reveal attempts to hide the dirty secrets about UID from people. It also contains resources from the Internet about UIDAI and its contractors.

I always thought it was silly to have separate toilets for staff / workers / managerial persons in organisations. My rationale was that we all have the same biological systems for excretion and physiological relief. It is not that different levels of the organisational hierarchy are Physiologically different.

The installation of smart cards is interesting. 

During the early days of the debate on UID, a justification was that it has "millions of uses". 

Application builders should note that the UIDAI application portal would soon be updated to include smart toilets to enable application development in the area.  

Well, here is another use of UID, perhaps the best way it could be used. 

After all, if the government is feeding the poor by uniquely identifying them, the government must uniquely identify those who excrete, as an audit to know how much of the intake is coming out! 

The input / output ration would indicate whether the welfare benefits are actually reaching the beneficiaries!

This is what the Afghans believe. They have fought off whoever tried to subdue them. This, they done for centuries. 

The Mongols, the British, the Russians and now the Americans - all have failed in their attempt to rule Afghanistan. 

Have we not learnt anything from history. Now, our government has entered into an agreement with the Afghan government to train their soldiers. Could anything be more foolish.
Time was when India had a strictly neutral foreign policy. We did not suffer the consequences of alignment in the cold and not-so-cold wars of the past.

Now, with the tilt, nay, active connivance between US and India in Afghan affairs, we are bound to attract increased militancy of a fundamentalist religious variety.

Is being dragged into fighting America's Afghan war? 

Right to Information (RTI) 

The Prime Minister's statement, which he read, was astonishing. Is this is his view or was he merely reading from a text given to him by someone else? While paying lip service to RTI, he was laying the basis for diluting the RTI Act. He attempted to make a few points decrying RTI. These were lame apologies for shutting out public scrutiny of government's actions. One was that it is detrimental to efficacy of institutions. Is he of the view that transparency detracts from efficiency.

Democratic Governments are not a rulers. They are servants of the people. They are mere representatives.

A second point he made was that RTI increases work of government employees. Is he not aware of Sec 4 of the Act that seeks suo motu disclosure; Or was the person who wrote his prepared text oblivious of this requirement of the Act?

Courageous and honest government officials do not fear transparency. As a former government officer, this writer was never inhibited by the thought of his decisions and notes being made public.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant. The tree of corruption wilts under the glare of sunlight. Only children of darkness prefer the shelter of pitch black nights to hide their conspiracies and deeds.

Let the people of India rise with one voice to strengthen people's right to information.
